After 10 years treating clients in my massage practice, interviewing 100's of therapists & coaches on my podcasts and exploring books from experts on trauma recovery, I saw the common theme of what healing looks like. So I studied and will continue to do so for my clients.

My mission is to share what I have learnt and support people to cultivate inner peace, steadiness and connection. I used to feel lonely, unworthy, anxious, disconnected and stuck in my life. As I sit here and write these words I can feel the space within me that is at peace and aligned with the life I have.

I now have the resources to know how to face the

next challenge in my life.

Healing, resetting and growing towards wellness takes time. It takes a steady, safe and gentle approach. Under our behaviours, habits and patterns tends to lay a deeper issue that informs our current day pain, struggle or block.

 

I want to hold a space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, sensations and reactions. Working with you to unpack what holds you back or shuts you down.

Begin to cultivate self-awareness and an understanding of your experience of life. We want to set in motion the shift towards peace, self love and a deep sense of belief in who are and what you need.

HOW TO WORK WITH ME

My coaching approach is to take it slow, steady and safe. The mission is to support you to cultivate long lasting change and be resourced to deal with life as it unfolds. As we discover more about what is really going on for you we can adjust and adapt towards new helpful behaviours and habits. Healing is as much about unlearning old coping mechanisms as it is learning new skills to thrive. I will guide you towards your own self-discoveries. 

My free 30 minute chemistry sessions can help to see if I am the right fit for you and if joining the coaching space is going to be right for you. The coaching space a flexible platform where you decide how many sessions you want, how often and for how long. You simply just book as fits for you and you can switch between session lengths. This is a empowering structure in which you have control over your life and therefore what support you feel it needs.

'The Awareness 5' is an awareness practice

to facilitate improved wellbeing that

really helped me.

 

I use these five techniques to support my own transformation, how I live within the moment and how I am in the world around me.

 

This is a practice of self-awareness, self-resilience and self-empowerment. All we have is this moment. Our reality is a perception from our thoughts, sensations in our body and beliefs we have rooted in them.

A - ACTUALISE

What is really going on here. Stepping away from
your instinctive narrative and default
thinking patterns you adopt.

Can you open to the deeper source of this experience. Take the time before you form a belief.

W - WORDS

Thoughts aren’t facts and are just unfiltered feedback. A story following a body state. Can you see beyond your words and not get caught up. Can you see how your words also feed your body sensations. Can you see how your beliefs are being created by your repeating thoughts.

A - ANATOMY

What is going on with your body right now. Checking in with your body sensations in any given moment. Do you feel uncomfortable around this person. Can you notice your neuroception around this environment or person. How does your nervous system dance with another.

Can you become aware of your triggers and glimmers. What sets you into fight, flight or shutdown. What helps you feel connected, safe and heart centred. Can you get to know your boundaries & limits. Do you know resources to help support your nervous system in any given moment

Can you see beyond perception. Beyond the perception of who you are coming from peoples expectations, opinions and narrative about you. Seeing past the role you play in any given moment. Being with the space of stillness outside thought and self judgement.

SLOW

Taking time with our journey of healing is so important. To give us time to integrate the insights and emotional responses we have come up for us. To allow our nervous system to regulate each time and strengthen our window of tolerance.

Steady

STEADY

It is important to not just dive into the depth of our pain, suffering or resistance. We can risk triggering or traumatising ourselves. It is being steady with our mind and body and allowing space to process. Gaining inner

resources as we go.

SAFE

This is so vital for a recovery journey towards peace & contentment within. Feeling safe allows our nervous system, brain & organs to function optimally. Safety opens the door to hold our pain and nurture healing qualities in the long-term.

Compassion

COMPASSION

When we become self-aware of whats going on for us in this moment it is important to meet it with compassion. For example meeting a sense of anger in our body with the compassionate approach of 'I see you anger and I hear you'. Seeking to meet the anger with love and care.

Safety

SAFETY

It can be easy for us to notice things about ourselves and have shame or disgust around it. We can notice the things we do in a moment are because we don't feel safe in our bodies or environments. Can we seek to create a sense of safety within. Knowing what feels safe.

Non-Judgement

NON-JUDGEMENT

Without the previous two steps it can be easy to fall into judgement about who we are, what we have done and criticise our behaviour. Self awareness with non judgment is powerful. Can we see our reactions make sense in the act of survival or the search for our needs to be met
